Hurricane Michael Relief--Albany, Georgia
Calvary Church will partner with Samaritan’s Purse (SP) as they minister to families whose homes were damaged during Hurricane Michael in Albany, GA. Beyond the physical help, you will extend to the homeowners, the spiritual and emotional support you offer to them is even more important. Category 4 Hurricane Michael made landfall on Mexico Beach, Florida, as the most powerful hurricane in recorded history to strike the Florida Panhandle, it devastated communities along the Florida Coast as well as the state’s inland areas. As a weakened but extremely dangerous Category 2, Michael carried dangerous winds and rain into Georgia and the Carolinas. Work will include debris removal, chainsaw work and roof tarping.
