អរុណសួស្តី from all of us here in Cambodia,
Today we had another incredible day! We started out the day with an early morning soccer session. The kids challenged themselves and a prize of candy was on the line so each pushed themselves harder. Despite the language barrier and phrases constantly being translated, we had many smiling faces and got many hugs. We also got more comfortable with drills being run and the camp ran very smoothly. We had lots of fresh fruit and even tried coconut water(some liked it and some did not!). We got replenished with water and food in our bellies and went back to play games with the kids and scrimmage. It is fun to see all of our competitive sides come out and play with people we have never played with before and connect through a sport well loved. We are having great connections with the kids and a great time here! We have been seeing the Lord work and we want to thank you for all your prayers. We danced in the William’s kitchen while doing dishes after dinner and have a game night planned! We have discovered a passage door that leads to the roof that has a very nice breeze, so of course, half of our team is deciding to sleep there tonight. (Don’t worry, the roof is fenced in.) We would appreciate prayers for safety and rest for the remainder of the week, thank you for your support!!
Blessings,
Savannah Groff:)
