Hello to all our friends and family back West. Today was another great day in Kenya and seeing how God is working in and throughout camp. Also, today the team had its final team member arrive. We are super excited and thankful that Mary Harrop made it here safe and sound! Praise the Lord!!!

Today at camp we experienced some amazing Kenyan worship and a devotional by OneLife Africa’s camp coordinator, Bidan. This morning we did a few Bible sword drills with the students and they all really enjoyed them. We also had another amazing hype session (a session where we play games and get the students excited) with Abby and Chandler, and then we heard an amazing message from Bobby and Cassondra on Seeing Jesus Forgive. Following that, we had time in our teams to work on our team chants for Friday’s camp Olympics. Lastly, we ended the morning session with another great small group time where we talked about today’s lesson on seeing Jesus forgive.

This trip for me so far has been fun but definitely one of the most challenging experiences I’ve had in my life so far. For example, most of us don’t have hot water and others of us aren’t sure when we will have running water in our bathrooms. However, I’m finding it easier to see the small gifts that God has blessed us with on this trip.

A personal prayer request is to be able to continue to see Jesus on this trip. Additionally, that as difficult challenges come our way, that we would continue to have a heart like Jesus.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support. I’m so thankful to know that my family and friends at home are thinking of me and my team and praying for us!
