Today has been an amazing day! It’s hard to believe that we only have one more day of camp left, since we have all grown very close to our campers here at OneLife Africa.
Kyle and Sarah taught our 4th part of our Seeing Jesus series with their message on Seeing Jesus as Savior. Despite the electricity and sound system cutting in and out, they presented the gospel in a way that really resonated with the campers.
During small groups (after the lesson) at least 3 young adults committed their lives to Christ and many more have been asking their leaders (our team) questions about Jesus, salvation, forgiveness and repentance! Many more who have already committed their lives to Christ are excited to go home and tell their friends and family about what they have learned!
Last but not least I was tremendously blessed as our team and the kids came together to celebrate one of the best birthdays I’ve ever experienced today. They baked a cake, sang multiple songs for me and dumped at least 7 buckets of water on me after our afternoon water balloon activity!
Thank you so much for each of your prayers and support, please continue to pray that the campers will listen, engage and ask questions tomorrow as Logan and Katina teach our final message on Seeing Jesus Worshipped and that God will continue working in the hearts of the students in the coming days and weeks as they return back to their regular lives back at home and share with those around them! 🙏🏼
