Happy Saturday!
This morning some of the team decided to wake up early and catch the sunrise at the overlook by camp one last time before hitting the road. After saying our final goodbyes to campers we got in the bus and headed towards the Masai Mara. After about a 4ish hour bus ride we made it to Eagle View Camp where we will be for the next two nights. After a warm greeting and a delicious three course lunch, we headed out on our first game drive of 4 over the next few days. Wow! I’m not sure how to even begin to sum up all that we saw, but we all stood in awe at creation. We ended the game drive by watching the sunset in the middle of the African bush. As we drove back to camp in the dark we got to star gaze and take in the breath taking beauty of seeing both sets of the constellations. After warming up by the fire and consuming another delicious meal, we are heading to sleep in our tents and falling asleep to the sounds of the African Safari animals.
