In a little less than a week our team of 6 women leaders and Bible teachers from Calvary Church will be heading out to Cambodia to assist Global Partners Brian and Jody Williams alongside local Pastor Pisal and his wife Siphon. Our objective is to teach Bible Study methods to about 110 local women leaders over the course of two, 2-day conferences. The team here has been pouring out prayer for this trip to the Lord and preparing for months using the book of James as a foundation for the application of the Bible Study methods that will be demonstrated and taught to these women. One of our prayers is that these local women leaders will be equipped to then turn around and teach those within their circle of influence how to study the Bible for themselves so that many more would come to know Jesus as their Lord and others might grow deeper in their walk and personal relationship with Him through encountering Him in His Word.
