Hi church family. So today was a day of connections. After having breakfast together we watched church service and had a bit of a lovely nap. How special it is that even halfway across the world we can watch our home church's service and stay connected with so many of you.
In the afternoon I had the privilege of attending a meeting with a local branch of a missions architecture firm with Brian and Pisal to discuss plans for the student discipleship center. The crazy cool God connection is that this is a local branch of a firm that I almost came to Cambodia to volunteer for several years back! How incredible is our God? Please continue praying for Pisal and Sophorn as they navigate plans and prayers for this center. It has been an absolute privilege to hear about Pisal and Sophorn's hearts and ministries and how our Lord is working in and through them.
We then had dinner at a restaurant called Jars of Clay which is a ministry based restaurant that helps many disadvantaged and at-risk young women in Phenom Pehn. We are currently sitting here at the airport hoping to Lord willing make our first flight at midnight but have received an odd text stating that it has already left and the help desk is starting to open so we believe it was a misleading text. With all the chaos and confusion of getting here, will you please join us in praying for the smoothest trip home possible? Thanks church family. We are supposed to have a 5 hour flight and an 11 hour layover in Korea, followed by a 13.5 hour flight to Atlanta with a 2 hour layover to then Lord willing make it into Harrisburg by 9:30 pm on Tuesday night. It's going to be a loooooonnnggg two days of travel and we need your prayers yet. Thanks all.
