Well, we made it to Dubai!
It wouldn’t be a short term ministry team without already moving to plan B in less than 24 hours into it. =)
We missed our connecting flight due to a delay in Dulles. However, the airline was super gracious and had already rerouted us and booked us a hotel, allowing us to shower, rest, eat, and explore for a few hours. We head back to the airport shortly to catch a night flight to the Philippines that arrives tomorrow morning. Thankfully Rachel was able to rebook our domestic flight, but that means we will be arriving at camp maybe an hour or two before the event starts.
Please pray for rest and health on these next two flights and that all the bags make it to Manila!
