Good morning!
After traveling up to the mountains of Mindanao, to the town of Valencia, we held our second GATHER event! We originally planned for around 200 women to join us at the chapel this evening, but as we continued to prep for the night, the number continued to grow. By the time of the start of GATHER, we were amazed to see God provide over 320 women!!
As we sang the song, Great is His Faithfulness, I felt the words ring true as I watched more and more women pour into the chapel as we started the event. The Lord is SO good! These women travelled from all over a 2 hour radius to this church, just to experience God’s word in a new way.
While we weren’t expecting such a large crowd, each one of us stepped up to prepare scripture books, resources, registration, bracelets and name tags to ensure the women were ready to engage with the Word.
I’m personally so excited to see how He continues to prepare the hearts of the women attending our last 2 events, and exceed our expectations of how many attendees we’d have.
Great is His faithfulness.
