Hello everyone,
The team had their first culture experience today. We were honored to visit a Christian radio broadcasting site and learned about the history of the church’s growth and the continued legacy that is being carried on. We then visited a cemetery that was provided as a burial site for missionaries in South Korea. This was a breath taking experience to see how many devoted people believed in the gospel and mission to go to another country to spread the news, even more eye opening is that these missions when the left their home country on a boat never expected to make it back home. We continued our culture experience as we visited a palace. Through this first day we were blessed to see the beginnings of the the church forming in South Korea through the early missionaries as well as seeing the continuation of the church. Thank you everyone for your prayers the team has remained healthy and we have continued to grow closer as a group. Please continue to pray for safe travel, good health, and that God can place in us a love and devotion to this trip and that it remains focused on him.
