We started early this morning and were eager to get to work. Only 3 Khmer workers came this morning, and they left after a short time. So, the team got to work getting the bricks to the second floor. Watch the video to see how we got them there.

Pastor Pisal thought the workers would return after lunch, but only one returned. He worked alongside the men getting the bricks to the second floor.
Commitment is difficult in this culture; commitment to work, family, education, and spirituality. Even when someone chooses to follow the Son, they often quickly fall away. It reminds us of the parable of the Sower and the Seed in Matthew 13. Pray for the seed to fall on good soil and have deep roots.
Sophorn and I (Jody) prepared some of the food items we will be taking to a village to give to the poor people at the village outreach on Wednesday.
