We had a great day at camp learning about forest animals today! The team prayed and shared scripture this morning, and then the children arrived! A big shout out to our van drivers and helpers who have helped get the children to and from camp each day! When they arrived, we played charades with forest animals. In English class, students learned vocabulary relating to forest animals. Each age level and English level did separate activities to practice their English and review vocabulary relating to the forest. After a lunch of hotdogs, applesauce and chips, students sang songs and listened to the book "Forest." During gym time, the students played football! They played soccer and learned American football! The students enjoyed playing soccer and enjoyed learning how to throw an American football. Before dismissal, each student was celebrated with a certificate and the students were given a folder containing all of their beautiful art work and English work. We have one more day of camp left! The students are excited for their field trip Urban Air tomorrow! Please pray for us to finish strong! May the students know that the reason we had this camp was to plant seeds of Jesus's love in their hearts. Another shout out to all of wonderful volunteers at camp over the last two weeks. Thank you for showing Jesus's love to these precious children.
