Hello from the Balkans!
First thank you all for your prayers! The team woke up with more energy today! Today we explored the theme of responsibility brought by the Hulk. We had team building games, egg and spoon races and lots more. The kids are definitely connecting more with the team and opening up more to us. There has been a lot of hopelessness expressed by the students which is sad to see at such a young age. Please keep these kids in your prayers!
This evening we had the opportunity to have a craft night with a small refugee group that our worker here has been teaching English to. The girls were so sweet and asked a lot of deep questions. One of the girls said that the global partner’s ministry to them ‘saved’ her and has brought her out of a lot of hopelessness about where her life was going and depression. It is incredible to see what God is doing here! Keep praying for these girls hearts and for curiosity. Also pray for them as they are finally getting to go to school this fall after being here for almost 4 years!
