Hello from the Balkans!
We started off this morning with an early breakfast and a team devo on giving our anxieties and fears to the Lord. Then we set off for our last day of camp—day five! At camp, Nick Fury dropped in and motivated students to build their teamwork skills. Through the regular stations of English class, games, crafts, snack, and story time, students engaged in hands-on applications of teamwork—a trait a local teacher told us would be especially valuable for these students. Camp concluded with a special appearance by all five Avengers from the week!
Thank you for your continued prayers! We are hopeful and prayerful as we consider some good connections the Lord has provided through this camp. Please pray these connections grow and produce change in the community, one person at a time!
Our team packed up camp, ate lunch, then left for a nature outing. The cool canyon air and some good team laughter refreshed our spirits.
Early tomorrow morning, our team is headed to another country for some cultural learning and a time of debrief. Please pray for good conversations and special times of processing before we return home.
