Hi! Today was an incredible first full day here in Saint Lucia! We started the morning off with some devotions in the book of Mark. Next we traveled across the beautiful country of Saint Lucia getting to see amazing scenery and admiring God’s creation. We got to have many awesome conversations throughout our travel and time together. Then we arrived at Vieux-Fort Community Baptist Church for our Sunday service. We experienced an amazing welcome from the people of Saint Lucia! We were able to sing lots of great songs, interact with the people there and hear from one of our leaders, Ian Jerchau, preach about sharing the Gospel.
After the sermon we stayed at the Church for lunch and immersed ourselves with the people of Saint Lucia in conversation and fellowship. Later, we spent some time at the beach and had great conversation within our team. Finally we have been preparing for our first day of VBS tomorrow. This has been a great time for practicing our songs, games, and teaching for tomorrow!
As we prepare for our first day of VBS tomorrow, it would be amazing if you could pray that God would lead and guide us in all that we do and that the Lord would touch the hearts of the kids that we encounter.
