We kept the momentum going as we went into day three of our VBS. The number of kids we’ve had has steadily increased, and it’s been amazing to see the Lord answering our prayers in this area. Jackson B. and Keila dove into the bible story of Abraham and Elizabeth waiting patiently for the birth of their son Isaac, following some high energy praise songs to get us started. After we finished our games and different stations with the kids we ended with some more praise songs and then Brynn and Trey shared a bit about how God has worked in different areas in their lives.
A highlight of the day was definitely heading to the beach afterwards, and enjoying the amazing scenery that God had for us there. We had an amazing time at the soccer camp as well, as we got to spend more time with the kids in smaller groups which allowed us to pray with and for all of them. It’s been so cool to see God working in our interactions with the kids on a daily basis, and being able to answer questions relating to our faith and what we believe. At the end we got some rain to cool us off, and then we headed back to the church for dinner and got to see even more of the Saint Lucian cuisine. To end off the day we heard from Logan and Aiden as they shared their testimonies with the team.
As we head into day 4 of the trip we would ask that you pray for our numbers to just keep increasing, and also that God would work in the hearts of each of the children we are able to minister to. We appreciate all of your support. Praise the Lord!
