We gathered under the West Portico to avoid the rain. Bethany Zipprick made sure we all had a green tape on our luggage, proper weights, the First Aid Kit stowed away, passports, and TSA approved locks. Jay Weaver, Pam Shellenberger, Ed Buckwalter joined Bethany in praying for us and our trip. After lots of hugs, Ed Buckwalter drove us to Dulles via the route that George and Patty Hauber taught Beth & Jay. It was peaceful and we made it in less than 3 hours with only one 20 minute traffic tie up.
We are currently on our layover in Vienna where we are enjoying the coffee and internet.
Isaiah 52:12 says "For you shall not go out in haste, and you shall not go in flight, for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard."
The weather at our destination appears to be cooler than last weeks prediction so Faith and I are rejoicing that we won't be canning tomatoes in 90+ degree weather.
