Tonight our Moldova Team went to take some of our canned goods and watermelons to Magda's home. She is a missionary from Romania who God called to Moldova to open a home for girls and young women who are at risk. It was great to hear some of the stories from these young women who have come to know Christ and have been baptized. We enjoyed a lovely meal with 7 of the young women and Magda. Spent some time singing worship songs and rejoicing in what God is doing in this home. One showed up today but has a ticket for Poland with no clear job and is at high risk for being trafficked. A 21-year-old Dutch woman from Holland has been working there but is going back to the Netherlands to a serious boyfriend. She is torn because she loves serving the Lord alongside Magda. I was able to sing a couple of Dutch songs to her that I learned as a child in Suriname. She was amazed. We are all so thankful for this outing tonight after a long, hard day working on several projects in the heat at the farm.
