We had a wonderful Wednesday with all the cool kids at VBS and the soccer camp. Every day we have had so many kids accept Jesus into their heart which is so encouraging because it shows that what we’re doing is making an impact. We are having such an amazing time with worship, all the kids are really getting into it and learning all the songs, one of my favorite parts is hearing all the kids belting the lyrics to the worship. Today Eli and I taught about God’s promise to Abraham about his family and how God always keeps his promises. During our break we went and saw a breathtaking view of the part of St. Lucia were staying at and also went to the grocery store to load up on some snacks. After that a lot of us napped to regain our strength for our soccer ministry. Every day has been such an encouragement to see how many kids are giving their lives to Jesus. The older kids played against some people from our team and we got smoked yet again. At halftime I shared about a story where God was evident in my families life and how he answered our prayer. For the second half of our game we were all exhausted but still put our best foot forward. The younger kids had a blast playing on the smaller field yet again. Its always great to hear the stories of how God has worked in the kids and in us throughout the day. A couple of our team members have gotten sick so prayer would be much appreciated for their health and that the rest of the team would be able to encourage each other and finish the week out strong.
