Today was our last day in Slovenia. We journeyed about two hours to Domzale to visit another team working at a church plant there. We were so encouraged to meet this team and learn their stories as one couple is from America and the other is a Slovenian couple. It is not common to find a Slovenian couple in full time ministry in Slovenia. We were encouraged and challenged by their faith and how this team is using their giftings in their community. After story time, prayer walking the city, and trying Borek, we jumped back in the car to journey to Lake Bled.
Lake Bled became the perfect little place to be in awe of God’s creation and close out our time in Slovenia. From crystal clear blue water to snow covered Alps, it was gorgeous everywhere you looked.
After the long journey back to Ptuj, we took some time to all spend alone time with the Lord processing and praying through all that we have observed and learned so far.
Tomorrow we journey back to Zagreb to do laundry, rest, process and pray before heading to our last country on Friday. We thank you in advance for lifting up these next 24+ hours to the Lord as we reflect and prep for the last half of this trip.
