Hello from Macedonia!
Today was day 2 here in North Macedonia and it was full of observations about the culture, meeting new people, and broadening our understanding of ministry! To begin, we went to a local education center that serves as a “hub” for some of the local workers here. We got to see a presentation that taught us an overview of their ministry here with a specific people group. Learning about different approaches to the culture here was really interesting. After this, two workers walked us around different areas of the city. This was a time to observe the differences between the people groups. We observed numerous things, from economic differences to how big the streets are! After this, we debriefed over a meal and then headed over to a local coffee shop that is a BAM (Business As Missions) ministry. We got to talk with a worker about BAM and how God uses passions for His glory. Once we finished this conversation, the ladies headed back to the education center to have a “women’s craft night” with a local refugee population. It was such a blessing to interact with them while making dried-flower bookmarks. Meanwhile, Dan was off having a time of food and fellowship with a family who has been serving among one of the people groups here.

Please continue to pray for energy! As the trip is getting closer to the end, we are definitely experiencing fatigue. Tomorrow we should have some time to rest, so please pray that this can be a time of refreshment. Thank you all for being dedicated for praying for us. God is doing amazing things in the Balkans.

With love,
Bella, Dan, Kayla, and Meagan
