The way I describe English Camp is high energy learning, which is to be expected of 5th-7th graders. Friday we had a closing program which included our theme song and dance, acknowledging teachers from the school, giving of certificates and a video of pictures from camp. Oh how they cheered! There lots of hugs, high-fives, and handshakes as they left. One of the goals for camp was to build trust in the community and that happened.
After all the materials were cleaned up and returned to the Education Center, we took a relaxing boat ride through the Matka Canyon.
