Washington, D.C. stands as a symbol for immigrants of hope, freedom and the chance that life can change for the better. We will serve within a safe environment, alongside amazing local organizations to build relationships with locals and provide assistance in various ways, including serving meals, running Kids Clubs, working on construction projects and helping clean up local neighborhoods.

DC Trip Departure Required
DC Trip will be leaving from the Gym Hallway on Sunday, June 23 at 1:00 PM. Bring all luggage, sleeping bag, air mattress, etc. If you are bringing medication (prescription, over-the-counter, or herbal) you must have a Secondary Medication Form signed by a parent and must turn in this medication to Jen Gregory at check-in. Please eat lunch before you arrive or bring a packed lunch to eat on the van ride.

DC Trip Debrief & Celebration
Join us on Wednesday, July 3 for our Debrief & Celebration! We will have some snacks and spend some time reviewing our experience this past week in Washington, D.C.! We will also provide you with an updated support list.

Calvary Medical Release Form 2018-19 Required
Due 3/31/2019
This form is required for all participants on a CSM Summer Trip. If you have already completed this form for a prior Student Groups event (Fusion, Winter Retreat, Go Weekend) for 2018-19, then we have one on file and you do not need to fill this out again.
Secondary Medications Form
Due 6/23/2019
This form is necessary if a student is bringing medication with them (prescription or over-the-counter) to take during this Summer Trip. Please follow all instructions on the form and bring the form with all medications when the student checks in for the trip.
Experience Mission Waiver (Minors) Required
Due 4/28/2019
This form is required for students (under the age of 18).
Experience Mission Waiver (Adult) Required

This form is required for all participants (over the age of 18).
Summer Trips - Letter of Intent Required

In an effort for students to count it a privilege in going and to be a good steward of the money that is given towards the trips, we have developed some guidelines to help students in their commitment to their missions team. By signing this letter of intent, your student is committing to being a part of this trip and to all of the guidelines for raising support.
Reference - General 1 Required
General Reference is required for all applicants.
Student applicants need (1) general reference.
Leader applicants need (2) general references.
Reference - Parent / General 2 Required
Parent Reference is required for all student applicants.
For LEADER applicants - this will be a 2nd general reference.
Requirements
Prerequisites
- Background Checks (if 18 or older)
- Calvary Medical Release Form 2018-19
- Experience Mission Waiver
- CSM Letter of Intent - DC 2019
- Calvary Secondary Medications 2018-19 (if student is bringing medications on the trip)
Responsibilities
- Serving in various organizations, preparing and assisting in kids clubs, etc.
Restrictions
- Students must be in 9th - 12th grade
- Leaders must be 18 or older
Preparation
- Pack your bags! (1 main bag + your sleeping bag / bedding & air mattress + a backpack)
- Have 100% of Support Raised by June 23 (Goal)
