Kenya Work Team - Heading Home!

The heavy rains caused the river to overflow its banks. As a result, the bridges were impassable. With no way to drive out of The Mara, we were forced to come up with a new plan.

By God’s grace, we were able to secure passage to Nairobi on a small 10 seat Cessna. But before the plane could land on the airstrip, we had to chase the wild animals off it! Our driver skillfully chased the animals away with his Land Cruiser. It was a sight to see!

We spent the day saying our last goodbyes to Andrew and Stephanie Onguka, their children, and the friends we made along the way.

Our time in Kenya was fruitful. We made 2 benches for the African Inland Church, cleaned out, prepped, and painted the dorm rooms at OneLife Africa, completed various electrical and wiring projects, installed ceiling panels in the dorms and staff house, constructed bedside tables, fixed doors, completed a tiling project, repaired a stairway bannister, and more!

Truly, we are grateful for how you supported us in this endeavor and for constantly praying for us. We are so grateful!

Note - The Team should arrive back in the US on May 1.
