Today was the second day of camp!
Today started off with coffee/devotions, prayer, and breakfast. Then we went up to the main session area to welcome the students back for day two. During the main session, Matt and Tyson led the students in some fun games during our “hype session”. After the hype sessions ended, Alona and Tori taught the students on Ephesians 2. After the lesson, we headed to our small groups to talk about the lessons and to learn more about each of our small group members. In my small group we had 4 new students who came for their first day of camp and surprisingly my group opened up so much and asked great questions! We headed into group games where white and black team were against red and green team in steal the bacon, which ended in a white and black team win. Everyone went and ate lunch. After team games, there was free time where the students stayed mostly indoors due to rain. The students played ping pong, made crafts, and some of the team taught students Uno and worship songs. We then went to dinner and ended the evening with camp trivia!
Please continue to pray for God to open the hearts of all the students and for health and safety for everyone here!
