Today was a day for all of us to rest, relax and reflect after our week of camp and before we head into our next week of ministry. Breakfast wasn’t until 9am this morning which we were all happy about as the last several mornings we had to be up for team devotions at 7am. Andrew and Stephanie and a few of us girls went on a 2.5 mile run/walk this morning on dirt roads around Kabarak. The morning sunshine and crisp cool air felt amazing!

Chef Morgan whipped up another yummy meal for all of us to eat before we left mid morning to walk to the nearest street and flag a van down so we could go to a cave and hiking area that Andrew and Stephanie wanted to take us to. This was again another opportunity for us to embrace the culture. Alona and Ian got the full experience by putting their heads out of the sunroof as we made our way down town. We had fun walking through the caves and hiking to overlooks. It felt so good to be outside and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.

After our morning adventure we came back to camp and ate lunch. We were then given an hour to individually read our Bibles and journal about what we have been learning up to this point on our trip. We spent the rest of the afternoon debriefing as a whole team and spending time praying. We finished our evening with dinner and games.

Continue to pray for:
-The health of our team
-Adam as he preaches tomorrow morning
-Our team as we visit a village on Monday and prepare to leave Kabarak and head to the Mara on Tuesday morning.
