We started the day with one final game drive at 6:15am, where we saw more cheetahs hunting, a pack of lions, and a herd of buffalo! This was followed by another incredible breakfast picnic outside. As we were leaving the camp, we got to see a herd of elephants. God’s beautiful creation was on full display! But it was then time to begin the long journey home, so we hopped on the bus to head to Nairobi. Thankfully there was no “bus napping” this time! We got to enjoy some incredible views at an overlook halfway through the trip. Once we arrived in Nairobi we ate dinner at the Amani Garden Cafe and then finally rested at the SIM house before we head to the airport.
