We made it! - Quick Turnaround to Teach

It's 12 am here in Cambodia! Thank you all for your continued prayers. We had a smooth first flight from South Korea to our connection in China and even saw a parade of "gatekeepers" at the Korean airport. The food was incredible and the hotel the airline put us in was such a blessing of unexpected rest and adjustment to the time differences for us all.

The connection in China was achieved with a few hiccups along the way but we arrived in Cambodia on time by the grace and protection of the Lord Himself to be picked up by Brian and Jody Williams - the global partners on the ground.

We received word from Jody that the first conference now has 73 women registered from 12 different churches with 17 helpers putting the first conference at 90.

Originally they didn't know if any more than 40 would show for the two 2-day conferences combined but we left the states with 110 registered for both and now just the first conference alone is up to the 90 women!!! All praise and glory be to God. We are so excited to see and be a part of the work that He's doing.

The travel delays and struggles to get to Cambodia are starting to make a bit more sense now if the ripple effect is going to continue growing and spreading - especially since we are going over James 1. Because the reality is we are going to encourage, teach, and equip these local women how to study the Bible in a way that they can then turn around and teach and equip others in their local villages how to engage with the Word of God for themselves with confidence.

We are doing this so that these women can encounter the Living God Himself in and through His Word and so that our Lord's name might go forth to all who would call upon the name of Jesus in faith as well as those aiming to grow deeper in their walk with Him. Pray with us that the fruit and harvest of these conferences would be multiplied 100 fold to the glory of our Lord!! Pray for Nancy as she sleeps this morning and teaches as the primary leader in a few short hours for a long first day. Pray for the rest of us as we lead the women in small groups under Nancy's lead teaching. Thanks brothers and sisters and prayer warriors for covering us and these conferences and all the details !
