Good morning!
After we all had a good nights sleep and a delicious breakfast we had our first Gather event! Today was full of ways that God showed His sovereignty and grace towards us. We had even more women than we expected which was a huge answer to prayer. At today’s event there were two sessions, two times of small group, and a breakout where we got to do an activity with a smaller number of ladies. Angie and Roger rocked it with childcare today and made it possible for the women to engage.
Here at Seaside the ladies were able to speak English well. Building relationships with them got easier as the day went on and everyone got more comfortable. While things didn’t always go to plan, the Lord used it to remind us that He can work under any circumstance which was such a beautiful encouragement. Small groups were definitely the highlight of my day and the women really opened up during our final activity!
It was a day full of blessings and learning. I know we’re all excited to see what the following days hold!
