Church & Rest

Often after a really great day, having a normal day is boring and can feel like a let down. Yesterday was an exceptional day! Thankfully, today was not boring or a let down in any way! God is so, so, so good!

This morning we went to church with some of the staff from Word of Life Seaside Camp, which was in both English and Bisaya. It was beautiful to experience the nations worshipping together, a small taste of Heaven! The message focused on God’s limitless power, making nothing impossible for God. Many of the women of the congregation were present at yesterday’s event, and they overflowed with gratitude and praise for what God did through us.

To hear such positive feedback so quickly after an event helps ease the sting of let down that follows an extraordinary day! Being Sunday, it was also a day of rest and refreshment as we got to spend time as a group having fun and bonding together. The goodness of God shines brightly around us and encourages us to carry on in His strength, in His name, and for His glory. We are to be anxious for nothing, for nothing is impossible with God!
