We arrived in Cambodia on Friday afternoon. God has given us several opportunities to connect with other workers. First, we met our former teammate Andree-Anne and her team as they were leaving Cambodia. James and Nica Yates, along with their children, joined us for dinner that evening. We were all exhausted after more than 30 hours of travel.
Saturday morning, we got up early and went to buy food and tools on our way to Kampong Cham. Along the way, we stopped to have the team sample some famous local delicacies like tarantulas, grasshoppers, and crickets.
We arrived at the center where Peter, Sarah, and Emma Hoang live and where we will be staying this week. Then to the work site. We surveyed what has been done and what they will be doing starting Monday morning. We are all ready to get started!
On Sunday, we joined the Hoangs for their church service, followed by hot dogs for lunch. On Sunday afternoon, we joined Calvary Church Kampong Cham for their service. Each teammate gave their testimony, and Sam shared from Psalm 103.
