Second Workday

Today's job was beginning to build the inside walls on the second floor, using the bricks the team moved up yesterday. The brick contractor arrived to show the team how to lay the bricks. After he left, there was a communication problem with the onsite boss, who was afraid to use our men to work alongside them. Sophorn helped to resolve the issue, and our men joined the Khmer workers.

After the morning break, the team cleared one of the walkways of sand that was left over construction of the foundation. The sand was 3 feet deep. Eventually, this will be a paved walkway. Pray for strong backs and aching muscles.

One of the jobs today was laying out where and how big the windows on the second floor will be, so that as they brick the walls, the window openings are in the correct place. This is Yuriy's area of expertise, and the Father's timing was perfect. Thank you Lord.

Joshua woke up this morning with a disconcerting rash. Sam checked it out and did some research online, and it doesn't appear serious. I am thankful we have a nurse on the team.

Mono and Fika are workers from Indonesia, and they joined us for lunch. It was an opportunity to hear their testimony of sending Indonesians to the ends of the earth and their vision to send Cambodians also.

Tomorrow is our outreach. Please pray as we travel to the Lime District and present the Gospel to those who have never heard.
