Today started out great, as we headed to the VBS at 7:00 this morning. We ate breakfast together and then prepared for the day. Our numbers were pretty good today and we had a few new kids show up! We started the morning out with fun worship songs including hand motions. After worship the lesson was delivered by Logan and David about the birth of Jesus and the great hope that He brings. Following the lesson, the kids were split up into separate groups and headed to the stations which include scripture memory, crafts, games, and snack. After finishing the VBS we ate lunch and then went into town to do some shopping as a team. Shopping was successful and then the team packed up soccer gear and drove to the field. Soccer camp was impactful today as many of us team members had the opportunity for special gospel centered conversations with individuals which led to many giving their lives to Christ. It’s been so awesome to see the way that God continues to work in the hearts of these kids each and every day, and to witness their openness to hearing the life-changing truth of Jesus. After soccer we piled into two vans and drove back to the hotel for our team debrief where we heard the testimonies of Keila and Sara. It’s been incredibly awesome to see the way that God is moving in the midst of our team, with the kids, and with the challenges that each day brings.

As we head into our last day of VBS tomorrow, please pray that we would finish strong. That we would take advantage of every opportunity that comes our way, and we would trust that the Lord is using us for His work!
