We have officially arrived in the beautiful country of Moldova! Our travel went almost as smoothly as it could have. Once we arrived at Angela's farm, we unpacked and sat down for a rundown of the week, followed by a quick dinner reminiscent of home (grilled cheese and homemade tomato soup), and a walk to the local church. We spent some time praying over the church as it is VBS week. It is shaping up to be a week of hard work, with plans to focus on canning vegetables from the greenhouses, some farm maintenance/construction, and overall greenhouse work. Angela is also planning on taking us to some other farms for visits.
Prayer Requests:
* That we can be the Hands and Feet of Jesus, no matter where or what we are doing
* That the local VBS is successful in its mission to bring children to know the Lord
* That we can be a blessing to the community here
* For the strength to complete the list of tasks (and then some) that Angela needs assistance with while we are here
* That we can adjust to the time change quickly.
