Happy Friday, everyone! We are all beginning to feel a little run down because of the heat, hard work, and struggle to sleep. The morning devotions were based on Isaiah 53, which predicted Jesus' coming to Earth. After breakfast, the boys finished up securing the tables in the seedling greenhouse and moving dirt to fill in holes around the water tower. The ladies were busy canning salsa, pizza sauce, and spaghetti sauce. We finished the day with a backyard cookout over our makeshift open fire grill. Rod and I made pork, chicken, and veggies, and we enjoyed the meal and fellowship. Beth made buckwheat brownies, which we enjoyed with ice cream. Now we are looking forward to a good night's rest, ready to take on our last full day in Moldova.
