We made it to Brazil! Thank you so much for your prayers! The kindness of the Lord met us each step of the way and it is with joy that we tell you we made it to the boat with all of our bags.
Majority of today was spent orienting ourselves on the boat and unpacking and rearranging our supplies for the week. This looked like anything from cutting paper plates for a craft to counting endless pills. It was a joy to be able to do this together and with new friends as we began the long journey to our first village.
Tonight, we ask that you pray for our boat captains as they will be driving us through the night as our ETA is 1am for our first village. Pray for solid rest tonight as we are tired from the long journey and adjust to sleeping in hammocks in the elements (mosquitos, spiders, rain, loud noises, etc). Tomorrow we will hit the ground running at 7am in the largest village of the journey.
