First Event Day!
Today was our first event day of the trip (1 of 6).
We left camp at 8:00am this morning to make our way to Valencia Baptist Church!
Along the way we stopped at Milo and Joyce’s house (Joyce’s parents founded the camp at Seaside) and heard her testimony. They were so welcoming and we left so encouraged by the story of God’s faithfulness throughout generations to grow Seaside Camp to what it is today.
We then had coffee and lunch at Cafe sa Bukid. After a long, winding drive through the mountains, we arrived in Valencia and had a wonderful event! Many of the women expressed their gratitude for the teaching and worship and we took LOTS of pictures with them!
We’re looking forward to 2 more events this weekend!
